Some friends of mine from Chennai went to Sabarimala last year. Late in the night, on the way to the temple, while all the swamis were asleep, there was this burning smell and the mallu driver stopped the van.
He opened the bonnet and found a coil had short-circuited. One by the one, the swamis woke up, and the guru swami asked the driver, “Ennachu?”
The mallu replied “Coil erinjitte!”
“Andava! Koil erinjidicha!! Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa!!!”

you know the kathi
Hi Baku,
How come you didn’t tell about the existence of this site? Took me all the way to the 5th grade thru the REC days to your unlike Baku email. A great job – since I can relate almost all Rajagiri & REC Day. Hey I think I am the only one who had the luck (or bad luck) to be in the same class with you for 12 years. You may want to check whether it is some Guiness world record – even if it is not it is a record ;). You may want to blog about that fake stomach ache and other things you may want to share.
Thanks for that Batch 81 photo. My family didn’t recognize me in that. It is unfortunate that I couldn’t recollect everyones name in the picture. If you know I please list down under the picture. Else we can try to complete the list. Share more old pictures. The stories of hanging out in your house and going thru all the “good things”.
Thanks for the bringing those good memories back. Especially in my present conditions.
THANK YOU ****** THANK YOU
Kathi.
