Speaking of DC Books, I wonder if you or any of the readers of this blog know anything about Malayalam crime fiction. I think Malayalam crime films are really good, so I think there must be a strong tradition of crime writing in Malayalam. Unfortunately I cannot read Malayalam. But I would love to know:
1. the most popular crime writers down the years,
2. when crime writing started,
3. If tjere is any collection of Malayalam crime fiction from the 40s and 50s onwards. Please email me if anyone has answers. I also think you should write a blog entry on this very interesting subject!
